Research Interests:
Ho Yin (Sam) is a Ph.D. student in Informatics at Penn State. His research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Scientific Communication. He investigates how human-AI interaction can facilitate shared semantic understanding and mitigate information ambiguity, with a focus on topics such as automated claim generation and verification for scientific literature, visual-textual data integrity, and countering the linguistic homogenization of large language models.
