The NSF Linguistic Diversity Research Traineeship (NRT) Program application is now open! The deadline to apply for the fall cohort is May 10, 2022.

Required Materials

  • Statement of interest 
    • Two pages, Times New Roman 12-point font, single spaced. This statement should include a description of past experience relevant to linguistic diversity or technology, how your participation in the program meets your research interest and career goals.
  • CV (up to 4 pages)
  • Unofficial current graduate transcript
  • Letter of support from advisor (sent separately to stighe@psu.edu)

Applications will be reviewed by a faculty committee. Applicants will be notified of decisions by June, 15 2022. A limited number of LINDIV fellowships are available; qualified students who are not awarded fellowships will be invited to participate in the training program as LINDIV-Associates.
