Information Science and Technology
Research Interests:
Rupak is a 3rd-year doctoral student in the College of Information Sciences and Technology. His research interests lie in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and social media analysis. He has always been fascinated by the power of language and its ability to connect people from different backgrounds and cultures. As a LinDiv fellow, Rupak aims to measure biases in fake news detectors by scrutinizing responses to text generated by pre-trained Large Language Models. He also plans to analyze the impact of linguistic diversity on the output of different large language models through a qualitative study.
