The NSF Linguistic Diversity (LinDiv) Research Traineeship (NRT) Program application is now open! The deadline to apply for the 2026–2027 cohort is March 20, 2026.
Required Materials
- Statement of interest
- Two pages, Times New Roman 12-point font, single spaced. This statement should include a description of past experience relevant to linguistic diversity or technology, how your participation in the program meets your research interest and career goals.
- CV (up to four pages)
- Unofficial current graduate transcript
- Letter of support from advisor (sent separately to hmg108@psu.edu)
Applications will be reviewed by a faculty committee. A limited number of LinDiv fellowships are available; qualified students who are not awarded fellowships will be invited to participate in the training program as LinDiv-Associates.
