Research Interests:
Kevin McGovern is a second-year graduate student of Hispanic Linguistics in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at Penn State. He graduated from Penn State as an undergraduate student with a degree in computer science in 2023 and hopes to combine that computational background and his linguistic knowledge so he can help with innovating language technology. His research includes code-switching, natural language processing, and morpho-syntactic variation.
