Research Interests:
Mahjabin is a doctoral student in the College of Information Sciences and Technology. She received her B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She later pursued her M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university, where she studied emotion recognition in multi-domain, multi-lingual data. Currently, her research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction and data science, particularly focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). As an NSF-NRT fellow, she hopes to utilize her knowledge in linguistics to investigate the human perceptions of and engagement with multi-lingual LLM-generated content.
