Research Interests:
Sarah is a doctoral student in the College of Information Sciences & Technology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction, social informatics, and mental well-being. As an NSF-NRT fellow, she hopes to expand her knowledge of linguistics and its intersection with other STEM fields, like cognitive psychology. She believes it will enable her to envision and understand how her work can contribute to the general public's well-being from a transdisciplinary viewpoint . Through the opportunities provided by the program, she hopes to continue to dive deeper into how the social part of human reality is integrated into technology and affects users from a linguistic perspective.
