Research Interests:
Vanessa Castro is a second-year graduate student of Hispanic Linguistics in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at Penn State. She obtained her bachelor's at the California State University of Monterey Bay in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures. She also has a master's degree in Spanish from San Diego State University. Her research interests include psycholinguistics, code-switching, adaptation theory, sociolinguistic acquisition, and variation.
